Introduction to stitch

Our introductory sewing course is perfect for a complete novice, or anyone wishing to refresh their sewing skills.
We will help you master the basics like threading the machine, replacing the bobbin, the stitch functions and guide you through your first stitching projects.
This course is delivered in two 4 week blocks:
- Block 1 introduces you to our sewing machines (or yours), some hand stitch techniques and following a basic pattern to make a pre-agreed simple project.
- Block 2 supports you to develop your skills and begin a more advanced stitching project, either in garment making or craft textiles.

These regular morning sessions offer the opportunity to develop your design and making skills under our expert guidance. We can support you in learning new techniques an tips to create your project with a professional finish.
